  • Cllr Bhatti selected for the Commonwealth Youth Forum as expert young leader in April 2018

    Hashim has been selected to attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London between 16-18th April 2018. The future of the Commonwealth depends on its one billion young people and this Forum is vital in giving young people a voice.

    The Commonwealth Youth Forum provides an opportunity for the young people of the Commonwealth to build cross-cultural connections and networks, debate the challenges facing its young people, and agree youth-lead initiatives to influence decision makers and ensure young people have a voice in its future.

  • Young political activist, Hashim invited onto SKY Urdu Channel 851 to discuss local politics

    Cllr Bhatti was a panellist on a show called Dastoor which aired on Sky Urdu Channel 851 and was hosted by Raja Zeeshan discussing the upcoming local council elections in May 2018. Hashim discussed what the potential outcome could be and what preparations the Conservative party were making.

  • The Number 2 bus will continue…

    Contrary to popular belief, the Number 2 will be run by Courtney buses and Reading buses after First Bus pulled out of the route last year.  Any changes to the timetable will be advised by the Royal Borough and the bus operators.
